About this course
This course skips the lecture hall. From the first lesson you write a program that compiles and runs, then you write nineteen more, each one adding a single new idea: variables and input, branching, loops, functions, vectors, strings, structs, files and simple classes.
Every program is short enough to type in one sitting and useful enough to keep — a unit converter, a dice roller, a word counter, a grade book, a tiny bank ledger. By the end you can read and write everyday C++ with confidence and you know how to build it with CMake on any operating system.
Still unsure about something? Write to our contact page and a human answers, usually the same working day.
Reviews are written by people who bought this course. We publish the critical ones too.

Marta Kask
Career changer
I had tried two C++ books and stalled on chapter three both times. Writing a real program every lesson kept me going, and the grade book project finally made structs click.

Every other tutorial skipped the build setup. Here it is lesson one, and it worked the same on my Windows laptop and the university Linux machines.

The pace is perfect for a beginner. I would have liked one more lesson on pointers and references before the classes section.
Tomás Herrera
QA tester
I still use the to-do program I wrote in the last module. Small, practical and very clearly explained.
